12 months plus

good day and thank you for looking at my blog.

its strange, this is my blog, i can write what ever i want to and yet i still find myself censoring what i write !

not sure why i do that, its not like i have ever worried what people think about me, in business that is and over the past couple of months, its not like people have not given me ammunition to say what i think about what they are saying or maybe its because it was installed in me that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all !

who knows.

over 12 months ago i launched my web site and started looking and trying to get some work and now we are in a good place.

think that's a big pat on the back to me and the boss.

as for work, its going well.

Walvis Bay Express

we have just completed our 2nd walvis bay ship which was interesting for sure. thanks to the excellent a.b.p. Southampton team who were brilliant on this sailing , again, also my partner in crime on this adventure, banc logistics.

we still have somethings to sort out however and lets be honest, no service starts off perfect, but we are moving in the right direction for sure.

we both know that shippers have options and we greatly appreciate the cargo they ask us to handle for them.

the aim of this service is to provide regular sailings which is dependable with a fast transit time with rates that are easy to use. that's it, nothing more.

if you use us when it suits, no problem you wont get threats form us as we know its your cargo, your money, your choice.

for the usa its a great time with the import tariffs, now making it harder to ship / import machinery into the usa especially if items contain steel ! however these are the cards that are dealt to all so we get on with it.

for other areas of the world, i am fortunate to be doing some great shipments and keep following me on social media or check in on here to see whats happening.

so, we now are about to enter the busy time, last 4 months of 2025 so its now time to start planning and making sure bookings are in place.

and a final thing, i have to say i am enjoying my life.

i get to spend 90% of my time with my wife as we work together, i am enjoying my work more than i have ever it not all roses and sunshine, and if anyone tells you otherwise, well, they are wrong but it seems to be a good to me and i am happy with that.
